Limited (“GII”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cheung Kong
 Infrastructure
Holdings Limited (“CKI”, www.cki.com.hk)
which is the largest diversified infrastructure company listed
on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong with three core businesses – energy,
transportation and infrastructure materials and infrastructure-related
businesses.
CKI has a strong commitment to the Environment with focus on
environmental initiatives in clean energy and waste management.
Green Island International (BVI) Limited was established as
the investment and operation arm of CKI to manifest the Group’s
commitment to a better environment. The core of GII is the
techno-financial management team that possesses practical skills
and expertise in managing multi-disciplinary environmental
projects such as:
- Research and Development on integrated waste management
systems including waste recycling and recovery;
- Engineering Design and Quality Assurance for development
of integrated waste management infrastructure;
- Development of clean and renewable energy and related
infrastructure;
Commercialization and Marketing of environmental technology.
Three main environmental focuses of GII are:
- Clean Energy (e.g.
renewable energy)
- Waste Management (e.g. Recycling;
Waste-to-Energy; Waste-to-Materials)
- Better Air Quality (e.g.
Particulate control)
